Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or related supervisory role preferred
  • completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • physical ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
  • be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress
  • ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
  • ensure food items are stored safely and organized
  • maintain all serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees and promote employee growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor other food service workers
  • maintain maintenance logs on equipment
  • ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacement
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform other duties as requested
  • fill in for absent employees
  • manage daily catering events
  • work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • attend food service meetings
  • maintain communication with staff
  • perform cashier duties as needed
  • promote good public relations
