Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of 2 years experience in patient food service role
  • CDM certification required within 18 months of hire
  • ability to stand or walk 80 percent of the time while pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs
  • ability to sit 20 percent of the time in an office environment

Job Duties

  • Provide training to new and current employees
  • ensure proper storage meets local,state,and federal food handling guidelines
  • maintain proper inventory of food and supplies
  • check outgoing patient trays to ensure order accuracy prior to delivery
  • partner with Educator to develop and implement training materials
  • develop and implement cleaning schedules
  • assist with planning of events,special meals,and organizational functions
