Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- availability to work occasional nights and weekends
- ability to train and mentor others

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production that ensures safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
- ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- maintain all serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications following company policies and procedures
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location
- supervise and evaluate employees

- promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor other food service workers
- maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department
- ensure all food safety and temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment to meet facility needs
- proficiently multitask
- perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings with staff
- maintain communication with staff through various channels
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
