Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to work full-time including occasional nights and weekends
- understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- capability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- maintain emotional control under stress
- ability to resolve interpersonal situations

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes)
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
- ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- maintain all serving schedules ensuring food items are served per menu specifications following Aramark policies and procedures
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location
- supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain logs on equipment maintenance within the department
- ensure all food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment to meet facility needs
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff through various channels
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
