Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- must be able to work full-time hours
- ability to lead and manage a team
- good communication skills
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
- ability to participate in training courses including sanitation course
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
- maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications safely
- maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
- maintain weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees to promote growth, efficiency, and morale
- maintain a safe working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain equipment maintenance logs
- ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement
- multi-task proficiently
- perform other duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees
- maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain staff communication
- perform cashier duties when needed
- promote good public relations
