Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- must complete sanitation training prior to or during first year
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions
- proficiency in basic math
- ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- availability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications
- maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees while promoting growth and morale
- maintain a safe working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain equipment maintenance logs
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklists
- recommend equipment replacements
- proficiently multitask
- perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees
- ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering events
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service staff meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties when needed
- promote good public relations
