Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in large-scale food preparation and service
- Ability to work holidays and weekends
- Must pass background screening
- Must complete chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol testing
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime
- Ability to work in a tobacco-free environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in large-scale food preparation and service
- Experience as a Food Service Worker can substitute for two years of required experience for internal applicants
- Ability to supervise and lead food service staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Plan and direct the preparation and service of food in the hospital
- Supervise and assign duties to cooks, bakers, and food service workers
- Schedule workers' shifts
- Coordinate with the Nutritionist to prepare special diets
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor quality and quantity of food served
- Perform related work as assigned
