Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory roles preferred
  • must complete sanitation certification within the first year
  • ability to work occasional nights and weekends
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • commitment to safety and quality standards
  • ability to collaborate effectively with a team

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
  • knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective food service program
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production packets such as production sheets and recipes
  • direct daily food service activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality standards
  • ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free food storage
  • maintain serving schedules according to menu specifications
  • uphold a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare orders as needed
  • supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • complete all food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacements
  • multitask efficiently
  • fill in for absent employees
  • coordinate catering events and ensure timely delivery
  • work occasional night and weekend events
  • attend food service meetings
  • communicate effectively with staff
  • perform cashier duties as needed
  • promote good public relations
