Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma
  • 2-3 years strong supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
  • Serv Safe certificate
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • ability to supervise and lead a team efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
  • minimum high school diploma
  • associate degree in dietary or hospitality management preferred
  • Serv Safe certificate required
  • graduate of 120-hour dietary manager’s course preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • outstanding customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • direct and supervise kitchen food service workers
  • supervise food delivery to patient floors
  • ensure foods are properly prepared, portioned, and served at correct temperatures
  • ensure attractive and correct placement of food, beverages, and non-food items on patient trays
  • coordinate trayline setup and operations
  • assign personnel to complete tasks efficiently
  • ensure trayline starts and ends on time
  • complete daily inventory and order supplies per guidelines
  • receive, date, and properly store food and non-food deliveries
  • complete quality control monitoring during shifts
