Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- bachelor’s degree nutrition, home economics, food service management, or hospitality preferred
- food handling certificate recognized by Cabell County Health Department on employment and updates as required by county mandate or Serv Safe certification required
- Serv Safe certification must be obtained within one year of employment and certification kept current
- minimum two years of management experience required

Job Duties
- supervise and coordinate food service production and patient care staff
- act as department head in absence of director and assistant director executive chef
- assist in coordinating activities with other hospital departments
- ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- train and mentor food service staff
- manage daily operational tasks within the food service department
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality
