Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to train and mentor others
- understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- effective communication skills
- physical capability to perform duties
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- must be reliable and punctual

- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating a cost-effective program

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure safe and organized food storage
- maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications
- uphold sanitation and health safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- log maintenance of equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklists
- recommend equipment replacement
- multitask proficiently
- perform additional duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees
- manage daily catering event preparations and deliveries
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service staff meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
