Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant food service experience preferred
- ability to complete a sanitation course either before or within the first year of employment
- strong communication skills
- basic math skills
- ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- capability to train and supervise staff
- ability to handle physical demands of the job

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules
- prepare production packets such as production sheets and recipes
- direct daily activities of the food service team
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure food items are stored safely in an organized, hazard-free environment
- maintain all serving schedules and serve food as per menu specifications
- maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees and promote morale and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- record equipment maintenance logs
- ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checks
- recommend equipment replacements
- demonstrate proficiency in multitasking
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- manage knowledge of catering events including preparation and timely delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties when needed
- promote good public relations
