Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager preferred
  • Minimum of two years of food service supervisory experience required
  • Ability to work varying shifts including AM and PM times
  • Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise activities of Food Service staff preparing patient meals and meal trays
  • Assist Starter during peak meal times to ensure efficient patient meal delivery
  • Maintain communication with internal clients regarding task status and completion times
  • Foster a teamwork mentality within the Food Service department
  • Implement new ideas to support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Manage scheduling including weekends and holiday rotations
