Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work full-time including occasional nights and weekends
- Completion of sanitation course during employment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production safety and quality according to policies
- Ensure food items are stored safely and organized
- Maintain serving schedules and ensure food items meet menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees and promote growth and teamwork
- Maintain safe and hazard-free working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain logs on equipment maintenance
- Ensure food safety and temperature logs completion
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend replacement of equipment
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- Fill in for absent employees
- Manage daily catering events and ensure timely delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service staff meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
