Job Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Two years of directly related food distribution experience or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience in institutional food service distribution
  • Ability to supervise staff effectively
  • Ability to maintain food quality and safety standards
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Two years of directly related food distribution experience or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to maintain food quality and safety standards
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with scheduling and staffing

Job Duties

  • Supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas
  • Enforce departmental work guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records
  • Complete assigned forecasting
  • Order menu items to meet demand
  • Assist in providing food service as needed
  • Attend assigned meetings and conduct staff meetings
