Job Duties
- Prepare gourmet food and baked products according to an organized menu
- prepare a daily report that ensures the legitimacy of transactions
- ensure proper food storage under sanitary conditions
- adhere to meal schedules and departmental guidelines when serving food to clients
- maintain and preserve kitchen gadgets and tools including knives for safe and efficient food preparation
- ensure timely preparation of food items, beverages, and snacks to meet customer demands
- enhance customer satisfaction and visual appeal through the addition of garnishes
- oversee cleaning of refrigeration units, freezers, and cooking and serving utilities
- maintain food safety by following guidelines for sanitation, food handling, and storage
- maintain daily communication with supervisor to prepare and understand daily menu
- monitor and control food temperature standards
- keep work and storage areas tidy and systematically arranged
- sanitize equipment by cleaning counters and surfaces
- uphold cleanliness protocols through sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- maintain garbage collection site and kitchen flooring in hygienic condition
