Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • Experience in quantity and quality cooking or in a bakery
  • Ability to work a standard schedule of 28 hours per week
  • Ability to comply with DHEC food safety standards and guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform routine kitchen duties
  • Willingness to follow directions and maintain cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in quantity and quality cooking or in a bakery
  • Fundamental working knowledge of food preparation concepts, practices and procedures
  • Ability to apply food safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and kitchen equipment maintenance

Job Duties

  • Prepares food as instructed and within DHEC standards
  • Weighs, blends and mixes ingredients according to directions
  • Cuts, slices, chops food
  • Prepares dishes to run through commercial grade dishwasher
  • Hand washes pots and pans
  • Cleans and stores kitchen equipment after use
  • Maintains food storage within DHEC guidelines
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
