Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items

Job Duties
- Prepare multiple meals including patient special food for therapeutic diets, special formula diets per Registered Dietitian, and all other patient foods
- Serve as baker to include mixing, kneading, and preparation of bread, rolls, biscuits, cakes, and pastries
- Estimate food needs and requisition, receive, and distribute food supplies to subordinate cooks
- Perform work involving the use of high heat, open flames, and steam, and exposure to harsh chemicals, gases, and cleaners
- Report to supervisors any unsafe working conditions and defective equipment
- Perform duties that involve the cleaning and sanitation of the food service area
