Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of relevant supervisory experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • effective communication skills
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory experience in food service or healthcare nutrition services
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to lead and train staff effectively
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with inventory and requisition processes
  • ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • coordinate and direct daily operations in assigned food service areas
  • supervise, coordinate and participate in activities of nutrition aides, sales assistants and kitchen personnel
  • initiate partnerships with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • lead and train service staff in patient care and retail cafe operations
  • enforce quality and sanitation standards in assigned areas
  • requisition food and related products in a timely and efficient manner
  • manage labor and redistribute staff assignments to maximize shift efficiency
