Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in foodservice industry through food brokerage, food equipment sales, or chef background
- Minimum of 2 years customer-facing sales experience and project management
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory and occasional training/conferences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word

- Associates or bachelors degree or culinary certificate preferred
- Experience leading, training, and developing sales professionals preferred
- Experience with COGNOS or Power BI a plus
Job Duties
- Facilitate the implementation of all new and existing food programs, including training demonstrations, menu and recipe development, processing of documentation, securing equipment, managing inventory
- Provide in-field training and consultation to strategic accounts on foodservice growth strategies, preparation methods, merchandising, marketing, pricing and profitability
- Maintain and learn knowledge of food service products, practices and trends
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers and internal partners
- Partner with Purchasing Department to manage inventory and demand for key program components
- Conduct weekly field visits with suppliers and sales team to identify opportunities and present Core-Mark Food Service Programs
- Coordinate and participate at regional and national trade shows for food initiatives
- Manage food and beverage demonstrations including scheduling and preparing sample kits
- Participate and present in sales meetings to build product sell-through strategy and execute business action plans
- Partner with corporate foodservice strategy and growth team to develop and optimize brand portfolio and provide feedback on performance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
