Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of company orientation and food safety and sanitation training upon hire
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment performing detailed tasks
- Ability to work with customers attentively
- Capability to perform physical tasks based on department such as reaching, standing, walking, bending, lifting
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to safely lift up to 55 lbs and manage heavier loads with assistance

Job Duties
- Provides superior customer service
- Takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
- Answers customer questions regarding products
- assists them with selections
- Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product effectively
- Slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
- Assists in technical areas as needed such as basic set-up and clean-up processes
- Uses suggestive selling techniques and basic product knowledge to meet customer needs and build department sales
- Cleans and sanitizes display cases
- Operates and maintains equipment properly
- Complies with food safety and sanitation standards
- Complies with department and store operating procedures
- Performs department-specific tasks such as recording production and inventory management
- Ensures catering orders are prepared on time if applicable
- Performs sanitation and maintenance tasks for equipment
