Job Requirements

  • Must be 15 years of age with a valid work permit or older
  • Illinois Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, at multiple locations, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with the public and fellow employees
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply instructions for the safe and sanitary operation of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 15 years of age with a valid work permit or older
  • Illinois Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
  • Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months of employment

Job Duties

  • Provide efficient and friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Safely operate food and beverage equipment according to operations manual and guidelines
  • Handle, prepare and serve concession foods according to Illinois Department of Health Food Safety Standards
  • Process orders and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized serving and eating area
  • Monitor shift inventory and resupply accordingly
  • Follow beginning and end of shift procedures including set-up and breakdown, inventory check, resupply, equipment checks and cleaning
  • Communicate and administer department policies to concessions employees
