Job Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent
- four years of work-related experience preferred
- ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicers
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- ability to read and follow recipes written in English
- ability to add and subtract numbers
- ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
Job Qualifications

- experience in retail cooking or restaurant environment preferred
- ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to use culinary tools safely
- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
Job Duties
- Prepare specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the chef and retail manager
- operate safely and effectively industrial kitchen equipment including knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicers
- maintain departmental compliance with all state, county, and regulatory agency requirements
- keep work areas clean and sanitary in accordance with food safety standards
- perform all other duties as assigned
- support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital
