Job Requirements

  • Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of work-related experience preferred
  • Ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicers
  • Food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • Ability to read and follow recipes written in English
  • Ability to add and subtract numbers
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English

Job Qualifications

  • Have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience or knowledge in food service or culinary preparation preferred
  • Ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicers
  • Food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • Ability to read and follow recipes written in English
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction

Job Duties

  • Prepare specified food items following recipes and culinary standards
  • Operate industrial kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain department compliance with all state, county and regulatory agency standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital
