Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
- Current registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred
- Minimum five years leadership experience in healthcare food service
- Knowledge of HACCP and ServSafe Manager certification preferred
- Experience managing complex food service operations
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Skilled in budget and contract management
- Familiarity with unionized work environments preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist preferred
- Vermont State Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum five years experience in food service management within a healthcare setting
- ServSafe Manager certification preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in budget oversight and vendor management
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare food service
Job Duties
- Direct the planning and coordination of food and nutrition services
- Manage daily kitchen operations ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Oversee budget management and financial performance
- Provide leadership and support to nutrition supervisors, chefs, and food service workers
- Collaborate with clinical nutrition, patient services, and culinary medicine teams to update menus
- Implement service innovations to improve patient satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and quality assurance programs
