Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- two years Operations Manager experience dependent on sales, more years’ experience may be applicable
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes up to 35lbs
- ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of local, state and federal laws
- ability to coach and develop staff
- ability to manage cash handling and POS systems
- commitment to sustainability and inclusivity practices

Job Duties
- Show dynamic leadership ability and motivate staff to exceed expectations of the customer and our client
- hire and recruit for new talent, integrate new team members, supervise assigned personnel, evaluate performance, develop, coach, issue documentation, and manage employee exits
- build and develop department’s leadership team, pushing for innovative performance, leadership through positive coaching and challenging
- oversee food service training and integration of all staff according to the onsite handbook and set expectations
- maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- manage operations in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws
- work with Executive Chef on execution of food programs, quality and daily oversight
- maintain relationship with client’s staff to ensure a positive working relationship
- uphold and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures
- perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure a memorable experience
- ensure cash handling procedures and POS functionality
- build and drive operational systems, processes and policies supporting organization mission
- plan for upcoming season food concepts, equipment needs and operational excellence
- manage day-to-day functions of all food services with focus on front of house
- coordinate maintenance and safety training
- facilitate maintenance and repairs of facility and equipment
- support Director of Food Service Operations in inventory and vendor invoice processes
- ensure consistency and high quality across operations
- ensure staff complete SSAfety training
- fulfill guest needs and resolve complaints
- maintain quality and cleanliness
- support financial forecasts and merchandising
- manage payroll, controllable profit and staffing levels per budget
- promote inclusive and supportive unit culture
- support sustainability, conservation and community engagement efforts
- perform additional tasks as necessary
