Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- State or county food handler card
- Three years of food service or nutrition experience
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, and carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compliance with all safety and confidentiality policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of food service or nutrition experience
- State or county food handler card
- Preferred hospitality, business, nutrition, or related education
- Preferred ServSafe Manager Certification
- Preferred management, leadership, or supervisor experience
Job Duties
- Provide daily oversight and support to frontline caregiver tasks throughout Food Service department
- Follow up with caregivers daily to ensure work completion and quality documentation
- Act as person in charge in absence of food services manager and supervisors
- Assist working stations as cross-trained staff when needed
- Perform special assignments including food production, customer service, room service, catering, café, event management
- Communicate direction, guidance, and assignments to other caregivers
- Manage, organize, and properly store equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with supervisors on staffing and daily assignments
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to caregivers
- Perform office procedures including records management, phones, reception, filing, and correspondence
- Assist with scheduling issues and support Lean principles of continuous improvement
- Maintain safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests
- Deliver customer service promoting goodwill
- Perform additional duties as assigned
