Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven food service experience
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Proven work experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or similar role in food service
- Proven customer service experience with a track record for problem solving
- Proficient food and beverage knowledge
- Computer literate
- Strong motivational and people skills
- Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems
Job Duties
- Responsible for the daily operation of all Food Service Areas including made to order food, commissary food, bakery, and dispensed beverage including self-service, full-service and drive up
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Order and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Enforce all company procedures and protocols
- Provide the best customer experience to every customer
- Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
- Suggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specials
- Assume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria's customer service program at the site level
- Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers
- Assure all site employees are adequately trained on safety policies and procedures
- Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents
- Manage maintenance of customer environment inside and around the store perimeter
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program
- Promptly report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries or incidents
- Complete new employee safety orientation
- Inspect stores regularly for workplace hazards and initiate corrective actions
- Encourage employees to report unsafe conditions and promote quick return-to-work for supervised employees
