Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • over six months up to one year of related food service or retail experience
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and other physical activities like climbing, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling
  • ability to maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
  • dependable and punctual
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • over six months up to one year of related experience
  • ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems with abstract and concrete variables
  • ability to do arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • ability to compose original correspondence

Job Duties

  • Maintains a positive attitude

  • smiles and greets customers
  • learns customers’ names
  • assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading/unloading items, recording suggestions
  • answers telephone promptly
  • handles customer issues
  • communicates sales and ideas to employees
  • ensures proper temperatures and storage
  • troubleshoots equipment
  • adheres to hygiene and dress policies
  • reports to work on time
  • assists Department Manager with pricing competitiveness
  • attends meetings and continuing education

  • unloads trucks and places product
  • performs departmental duties
  • assists in other store areas
