Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Biology or related field
  • Two years of leadership experience
  • Nutrition knowledge strong preferred
  • Two years of experience in related field may substitute for an Associate’s degree
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to manage food service staff and operations
  • Proficient in managing budgets and expenses

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Biology or related field
  • Two years of leadership experience
  • Nutrition knowledge
  • Experience in related field may substitute for degree
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Effective communication and team-building abilities

Job Duties

  • Oversees people, systems and standards for Food Service operations
  • Responsible for food quality and environment cleanliness
  • Responsible for customer service and safety
  • Hires and evaluates all new staff and arranges daily coverage
  • Manages staffing levels and schedules on a day to day basis
  • Responsible for the fiscal components of monitoring food, labor and supply expenses
  • Works with management team to set waste reduction goals and implement practices
  • Works with Executive Chef to create and run café promotions
  • May work directly with Food Service vendors to source new products
  • Involved in weekly menu planning meetings
  • Assists with supervision of additional areas as needed
