Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of similar or related experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Completion or willingness to pursue food safety sanitation courses
- Ability to perform physical work involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform activities such as climbing, balancing, kneeling, reaching, and standing
- Visual acuity including depth perception and color vision
- Ability to maintain punctuality and adhere to schedules
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Learn and use customers’ names whenever possible
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions
- Answer telephone promptly and take product orders
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Review daily production list and assign tasks
- Ensure food display case products are rotated and replenished
- Monitor kitchen areas for cleanliness, repairs, and safety
- Ensure proper staffing levels
- Oversee food quality, presentation, and inventory in multiple departments
- Collaborate with chefs on menu planning and purchasing
- Estimate food and beverage costs
- Supervise portion control to minimize waste
- Perform quality checks on preparation and service
- Set departmental standards for customer service and profitability
- Analyze sales trends and prepare advertising content
- Plan marketing, advertising, and special restaurant functions with management
- Monitor health, safety, and liquor regulation compliance
- Resolve food quality and service complaints
- Arrange maintenance and equipment repairs
- Select menu items and set prices based on cost analysis
- Direct hiring, training, and scheduling food service staff
- Enforce sanitary food handling and cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines
- Handle customer issues
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
- Adhere to company policies and schedules
- Assume supervisory duties in absence of other managers
- Assist in other store areas as needed
- Ensure competitive market pricing
- Perform other related duties and special projects
