Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years of food service or retail operations experience
- proven leadership skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- proficient with inventory management and scheduling software
- knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- full body mobility including bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- commitment to safety and sustainability policies

- Prefer 5 years’ experience in food service or retail operations

Job Duties
- Manages overall food service operations including deli, bakery, pizzeria, espresso, BBQ, and market meals
- participates in quarterly and annual forecasting and assists in achieving financial goals focusing on gross and labor
- establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, customers, corporate staff, and vendors
- ensures adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout food service departments
- works closely with market staff to achieve timely completion of administrative tasks and operational functions
- works with department managers and staff in settling interpersonal conflicts
- assists in the hiring, training and development of employees
- establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including customers, staff and leadership
- prepares department product for sale
- provides and role models excellent customer service
- oversees food service maintenance and cleanliness
- ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
- establishes and maintains a culture of safety throughout all food service departments
- role models attitude of service to staff and customers
- keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
- ensures the dissemination of and adherence to all company and department policies
- supports and follows all safety, security policies and sustainability programs
