Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous food service experience
  • familiarity with board of health regulations
  • ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong organizational skills
  • reliable and able to work the required full-time schedule
  • agreement with Wheeler Mission Ministries mission, vision, faith statement, and core values

Job Duties

  • oversee all operational aspects of kitchen management
  • manage inventory control
  • plan menus utilizing donations
  • maintain board of health required forms and practices
  • perform regular cleaning and maintenance checks of equipment
  • supervise food service workers including associates, volunteers, and program guests
  • ensure safe and clean environment
  • collaborate to serve nutritious meals to 100 to 350 guests
  • work with grace and uphold ministry values
