Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform medium physical work
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity with or without correction including depth perception and color vision
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes damp environments
  • Comfortable operating commercial kitchen equipment and technology
  • Must follow company policies and store guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of similar or related experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent hospitality skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Strong arithmetic skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Ability to guide and direct employees
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
  • Smile and greet customers warmly
  • Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing items, and handling requests
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and take product orders
  • Work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Review daily production and assign tasks
  • Ensure food display cases are rotated and replenished
  • Scan kitchen for issues and assign tasks
  • Maintain proper staffing levels
  • Oversee food quality and presentation
  • Manage inventory
  • Plan menus and provisioning with chefs
  • Estimate food and beverage costs
  • Supervise portion control to minimize waste
  • Perform quality checks
  • Set department standards
  • Analyze sales and prepare advertisements
  • Plan marketing and special events
  • Monitor health, safety, and liquor compliance
  • Investigate food quality and service complaints
  • Arrange maintenance and repairs
  • Price menu items and ensure correct pricing
  • Direct hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Enforce sanitary food handling practices
  • Follow all food safety guidelines
  • Handle customer issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Report to work on time
  • Assume supervisory duties in absence of managers
  • Assist in other store areas
  • Ensure competitive pricing
  • Perform special projects as required
