Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of similar or related experience
  • Sanitation (Food Safety) courses encouraged
  • Must be able to physically perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must have visual acuity including depth perception and color vision
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of similar or related experience
  • Sanitation (Food Safety) courses encouraged
  • Excellent hospitality skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Arithmetic skills involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Ability to file, post, mail materials, copy data, interview, guide and provide direction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in food service management preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products, loading or unloading items, and noting suggestions
  • Answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
  • Works with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Reviews daily production lists and assigns tasks
  • Ensures food display case product is rotated and replenished
  • Scans kitchen area and assigns tasks
  • Oversees food quality and presentation for various departments
  • Manages inventory within departments
  • Plans menus with chefs
  • Estimates food and beverage costs
  • Supervises portion control and minimizes waste
  • Ensures high quality preparation and service
  • Sets department standards
  • Analyzes sales and prepares ads
  • Plans marketing and restaurant functions
  • Monitors health, safety and liquor regulations
  • Investigates and resolves complaints
  • Arranges for equipment maintenance
  • Selects and prices menu items
  • Directs hiring, training and scheduling
  • Enforces sanitary practices
  • Follows food safety guidelines
  • Handles customer issues
  • Maintains cleanliness and adheres to grooming standards
  • Adheres to company policies and schedules
  • Assumes supervisory duties in absence of manager
  • Assists in other areas as needed
  • Ensures competitive pricing
  • Performs other job-related duties
  • Instructs and assigns work
  • Maintains standards and allocates personnel
