Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- one year of similar or related experience
- sanitation (food safety) courses encouraged
- must be able to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- visual acuity including depth perception and color vision
- physical abilities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- excellent hospitality skills
- problem-solving abilities
- adherence to food safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, and taking customer suggestions
- answers telephone and takes product orders
- works with co-workers as a team
- reviews daily production list and assigns tasks
- ensures product rotation and replenishment
- scans kitchen area and assigns tasks
- ensures adequate staffing
- oversees food quality and presentation
- manages inventory
- plans menus with chefs
- handles provisioning and purchasing
- estimates food and beverage costs
- supervises portion control
- performs quality checks
- sets department standards for service, cleanliness, and profitability
- analyzes sales and writes ads
- plans marketing and special functions
- monitors health and safety regulations
- investigates food quality complaints
