Job Requirements
- high school or equivalent experience required
- sanitation or food safety courses encouraged
- minimum one year of similar or related experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- ability to see with or without correction at various distances including depth perception and color vision
- willingness to comply with food safety guidelines and company policies
- availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading/unloading items, passing along customer suggestions
- answers telephone and takes product orders
- works with co-workers as a team
- reviews daily production list and assigns tasks
- ensures food display case product rotation and replenishment
- scans kitchen for needed tasks and assigns to staff
- ensures proper staffing
- oversees food quality and presentation
- oversees inventory
- plans menus with chefs
- manages purchasing and provisioning
- estimates food and beverage costs
- supervises portion control
- performs quality checks
- sets department standards
- analyzes sales and prepares ads
- plans marketing and special functions
- monitors compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
- investigates customer complaints
- arranges maintenance and repairs
- selects menu items and sets prices
- directs hiring, training and scheduling
- enforces sanitation practices
- follows food safety guidelines
- handles customer issues
- maintains cleanliness and professional appearance
- adheres to company policies
- reports to work on time
- assumes supervisory duties in absence of department managers
- assists in other store areas
