Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience in food service or related field
able to operate kitchen equipment safely
good communication skills
capable of working in a team environment
flexible to work scheduled hours
ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to operate school food service equipment safely
good oral and interpersonal communication skills
ability to work well with others in a team setting
1-2 years previous experience in a restaurant or cafeteria setting
1-2 years previous baking experience
previous food preparation experience is desirable

Job Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to USDA nutritional standards
operate cashier station as needed
interact consistently and positively with students
load and unload dishwasher
perform cleaning duties in kitchen area
complete production records and order forms
follow specific instructions and procedures to complete assigned duties
