Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of relevant experience in food service
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification within one year
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills including email and internet use
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Minimum three years of experience in food preparation and service
- Knowledge of hospital or restaurant food service operations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of food and drug interactions and allergens
Job Duties
- Maintain work assignments and staff schedules
- Provide day-to-day work direction to food service staff
- Ensure high quality food service for patients, retail, and catering functions
- Train and orient employees and students
- Monitor productivity and staffing levels
- Handle customer complaints and workflow issues
- Inspect equipment and work areas for sanitation and safety
