Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of relevant experience in food service
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification within one year
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills including email and internet use

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • Minimum three years of experience in food preparation and service
  • Knowledge of hospital or restaurant food service operations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of food and drug interactions and allergens

Job Duties

  • Maintain work assignments and staff schedules
  • Provide day-to-day work direction to food service staff
  • Ensure high quality food service for patients, retail, and catering functions
  • Train and orient employees and students
  • Monitor productivity and staffing levels
  • Handle customer complaints and workflow issues
  • Inspect equipment and work areas for sanitation and safety
