Job Requirements
- associate's degree or certification in a related field and one year of full-time experience as a cook in a large scale food service operation
- or high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and three years of full-time experience as a cook in a large scale food service operation
- willingness to work first shift
- ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- capability to train and coordinate food service staff
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepare and cook food for all food service spaces including patient feeding catering and retail operations in a safe and sanitary manner
- assist culinary supervisor and department manager with coordinating the activities of cooks and food service workers
- assist with retail menu development recipe development and catered function planning
- coach and train food service cooks
- maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
- ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
