Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one or more years of experience in similar food and customer service work
  • knowledge of culinary services
  • ability to operate computer software and point of sale systems
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to resolve problems and handle conflicts
  • knowledge of food preparation and event cooking
  • ability to inventory food and supplies
  • basic math skills
  • ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests
  • ability to operate all onsite food service equipment
  • must have required fingerprint clearance card if working at specified locations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one or more years of culinary or customer service experience
  • ability to learn and operate computer software and point of sale systems
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • ability to inventory food and supplies and perform basic math
  • ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification
  • experience in using various food service equipment
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • additional culinary education or related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee daily culinary service operations
  • ensure food handling and sanitation standards are met
  • resolve customer problems and train staff in customer service
  • inventory food and supplies and manage ordering within budget
  • prepare food items according to production forecasts and recipes
  • perform work in service and preparation areas
  • assist with cleaning and sanitation
  • participate in department meetings and training
  • communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management
