Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- One or more years of experience in food service and customer service
- Ability to operate computer software, email, and point of sale systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests
- Ability to inventory food and supplies and perform mathematical calculations
- Must be able to operate all onsite food service equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Employees working at certain Banner facilities must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to work independently and handle employee conflicts effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge
- One or more years of experience in food service and customer service
- Ability to operate computer software, email, and point of sale systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and event cooking or meal planning
- Ability to inventory food and supplies and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Additional related education or experience preferred
Job Duties
- Lead and oversee daily culinary service operations during shifts
- Maintain food handling and sanitation standards according to licensing requirements
- Resolve customer issues and support staff in customer service skills development
- Inventory food and supplies and manage ordering within budget and food cost guidelines
- Prepare food items following production forecasts and recipes
- Perform food service and preparation work at various stations
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and coordination of catered events
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Work independently while overseeing staff and communicating with diverse stakeholders
