Job Duties

  • Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client
  • ensure restaurant is adequately prepped and staffed for daily back-of-house operation
  • oversee kitchen duties ensuring quick service, food safety and quality, availability, merchandising, and guest service standards
  • maintain safety logs including food temperatures, rotation, and waste
  • ensure proper uniform, hygiene, handwashing, and glove use with staff
  • support safety training focusing on knife and slicer handling
  • create daily prep and item lists and delegate to employees
  • actively support operations and fill staffing gaps as necessary
  • maintain cleaning task checklists and ongoing projects
  • assign associates to duties and coach daily tasks and guest interaction
  • respond efficiently to guest and client feedback and report to operations manager
  • oversee personnel duties including training, performance reviews, progressive discipline, attendance and break management
  • inspect and maintain equipment cleanliness and function
  • assist team with tasks to ensure timely completion
  • communicate with Regional Executive Chef and Operations Manager about service or quality issues
  • work with restaurant supervisors to ensure location standards
  • ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • uphold company policies and procedures
