Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • three years supervisory experience in food service or related industry
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven leadership and team development abilities
  • excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • ability to multitask and remain organized
  • flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10-35 lbs
  • basic computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client
  • ensure restaurant is adequately prepped and staffed for daily operation
  • oversee kitchen duties ensuring quick service, food safety, quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards are met
  • oversee safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste
  • ensure proper uniform, hygiene, handwashing and glove use with staff
  • support SSAfety training with knife handling skills
  • create daily prep and items lists, delegating to employees as necessary
  • support operation and fill holes to ensure smooth service
  • maintain a checklist of routine or daily cleaning tasks and ongoing projects
  • assign associates to duties and coach through projects and guest interaction
  • respond efficiently to guest and client feedback with reports to operations manager
  • oversee personnel duties including training, performance reviews, managing documentation, attendance reporting and break management
  • inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning
  • assist team to complete daily tasks as necessary
  • communicate with Regional Executive Chef and Food Service Operations Manager about service or quality issues
  • work with restaurant supervisors to ensure locations operate to standard
  • comply with all applicable laws
  • perform other assigned tasks
  • maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
  • uphold company policies and procedures
