- previous experience in food service or retail preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Ensures food service department is open and ready during food service hours
- provides prompt and courteous service to all customers
- communicates effectively with store associates
- follows all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
- controls food preparation to avoid waste while maintaining availability
- treats associates with dignity and respects personnel policies
- advises management on personnel or policy issues affecting store performance
- assists in training new associates
- ensures all associate shift procedures are followed
- maintains a safe shopping and working environment
- enforces safety rules and use of protective equipment
- ensures compliance with current plan-o-grams
- communicates special merchandising needs to management
- alerts manager about merchandise ordering to prevent out of stocks
- actively promotes Huck's Bucks Loyalty app and educates customers on its benefits
- monitors app transactions for misuse
- assists customers with app sign-up and use
- maintains cleanliness and appearance of food service areas
- reports maintenance issues promptly
- follows all sanitation procedures
- ensures proper ladder use and adherence to lifting and safety policies
- uses wet floor signs as required
- reports accidents promptly to management and corporate office
