Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Prior food service or retail experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of food safety standards
- Willingness to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate standard food service equipment
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensure food service department is open and ready during food service hours
- Give all customers prompt and courteous service
- Effectively communicate with store associates
- Follow all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
- Control food preparation to avoid waste while ensuring sufficient supply
- Treat all associates with dignity and respect
- Advise store manager of any personnel issues or policy violations
- Assist in training new associates on job duties
- Ensure all associate shift procedures are followed
- Maintain a safe shopping and working environment
- Enforce all safety rules and ensure protective equipment use
- Ensure plan-o-grams are used correctly
- Communicate special needs or requests to manager
- Alert manager about inventory needs
- Promote Huck's Bucks Loyalty app and communicate its benefits
- Monitor loyalty transactions for misuse
- Assist customers with app sign-up and use
- Maintain food service appearance according to company standards
- Keep food service display cases and glass clean
- Report maintenance problems promptly
- Follow all sanitation procedures in food service areas
- Ensure proper ladder use
- Follow lifting procedures
- Use wet floor signs as per policy
- Report accidents promptly to the store manager and corporate office
