Job Requirements

  • Open availability to work shifts between 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Commitment to adhere to hand hygiene and infection control procedures
  • Effective communication skills to handle customer complaints
  • Ability to follow departmental procedures for meal service
  • Act 34 criminal clearance

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers
  • Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other health care team members
  • Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer
  • Distributes and collects menus from patients
  • obtains selected menus from patients according to departmental procedures
  • Serves meals within established time frames, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control
