Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED by end of school year
  • Prior experience in food service
  • Food Service Handlers license before start date
  • Competency with basic computer skills including data entry and email
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or ability to complete GED by end of school year
  • Prior experience in food service strongly preferred
  • Food Service Handlers license required before start date
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • General knowledge of computer usage including data entry and email communication
  • Ability to perform essential duties as outlined in Job Description
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Prepare and monitor meal production according to nutrition guidelines
  • Manage inventory and orders for food and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of meal counts and food usage
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
  • Utilize computer systems for data entry and communication
