Job Duties
- Coordinate, lead, and assist Food Service Representatives who prepare food or beverages
- set up patient trays
- deliver patient trays
- obtain patient menu selections
- handle retail transactions
- operate dishwashing machines and clean kitchen area
- communicate between nursing units, patients, and Food Service Department regarding patient menus, diet changes, and services
- assist supervisors and leads in daily patient services operations
- conduct daily rounds on patients to ensure meal and service standards are met
- document patient feedback and enter rounds into software
- perform service recovery as needed
- assist with onboarding and training of new patient dining associates
