Job Requirements

  • Prior food service or cashier work experience
  • Ability to follow directions, read, and communicate in English
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and administrators
  • Computer skills as required for position
  • High school diploma or GED completion preferred
  • Valid Florida Driver's License preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Follow daily work schedules for food production, service, and cleaning
  • Participate in ongoing state-approved training and educational initiatives
  • Demonstrate and promote exceptional customer service using professionalism
  • Operate point-of-sale systems according to federal guidelines when assigned
  • Adhere to food safety rules, departmental procedures, and HACCP guidelines
  • Perform kitchen duties including pre-preparation, food production, service, and clean-up
  • Assist with ordering, storage, and inventory for supplies and food items
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards
  • Drive vans and refrigerated trucks between sites for food delivery and maintenance
  • Participate in training programs and review job-related information
  • Ensure compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee
